Plano Teen Catching Bad Drivers On Camera

PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - There is now video proof that Plano has a lot of bad drivers.
In fact, there is enough video to spend hours each day watching them on a YouTube channel devoted to the worst behavior on Plano roads. All it took was a car with a constantly-rolling mounted camera for a teen to expose bad drivers in the North Texas city.
"When they see the videos, maybe they will think twice," said Marc McKennon. He has spent the last 10 months documenting his experiences behind the wheel for a YouTube channel which he created, called 'Bad Drivers of Plano, Texas.'
"I found videos, pretty similar to what mine look like, pretty much point out the stupid stuff people do," McKennon said. "And I really liked it. I was like, 'I want to do this.'"
People passing McKennon are unaware that they could soon be watched around the world.
But the 19-year-old driver insisted that he is not trying to shame those who may pull out in front of him or give him the middle finger -- and probably do not expect their actions to be posted online. "I'm not trying to embarrass anyone," McKennon said.
McKennon has also proved that he is not perfect either, capturing his own car rear-ending another driver. "It's pretty ironic, I admit," he said, "but it's also part of the learning experience I gained from the dashcam thing."
The teenager said that he will also post videos submitted from other drivers around Collin County, if he gets any.
So far, McKennon said, he has not had any complaints about what he is doing.
