Plano Reports First, Second Presumptive Positive Cases Of COVID-19

PLANO, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - A 47-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man have tested presumptive positives for COVID-19, the city announced Saturday.

The case involving the woman was first reported Saturday afternoon. Officials said she has no underlying health conditions and is not connected to any of the confirmed cases in North Texas. Officials did not say if the woman had recently traveled.

She is currently self-isolated at her home, officials said.

Officials later announced Saturday evening that a 56-year-old man tested a presumptive positive and was the city's second case. Officials said he has no underlying health conditions and is quarantined at his home. Again, officials did not say if he recently traveled.

Health officials said there are now seven confirmed cases of coronavirus in Collin County, with 63 people under monitoring as of 9 p.m. Saturday.
