Plano Man Intervenes In Couple's Fight, Shoots Woman's Boyfriend
FRISCO (CBSDFW.COM) - A couple's dispute in Frisco turned violent overnight when a witness intervened. Frisco police arrested Christopher Ducret, 40, who they say shot another man in the parking lot of the Shops at Starwood.
It happened around 1:10 a.m Saturday morning.
Ducret encountered a couple arguing in the parking lot of the luxury shopping center, according to police. He tried to break up the fight, but ended up shooting the man, police said.
The victim was rushed to the Medical Center of Plano. The extent of his injuries weren't released, but police said Saturday morning that he was in stable condition.
Ducret "surrendered to police peacefully," authorities said. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was awaiting arraignment in the Frisco Jail Saturday morning.
Police confirmed that Durcet has a valid concealed hand gun license.
