Plano Husband Arrested For Wife's Assault
PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - A man in Plano was arrested Friday and could face more serious charges than expected, after his wife later died at the hospital.
Authorities arrived at a home in the 700 block of Player Drive at about 4:00 a.m. early Friday morning, where officers determined that there had been an physical altercation between a husband and a wife. The woman, identified as 34-year-old Judith Dzwairo, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The man, 39-year-old Amon Tawanda Dzwairo, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
However, the wife died at the hospital on Saturday. The official cause of death is still pending.
Dzwairo is currently being held at the Collin County Detention Center on a $250,000 bond. Police are still investigating this case.
