DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - History was made at DFW Airport this morning; the American Airlines Dreamliner made its debut launch. Selling out all 228 seats, this special Boeing 787 - nicknamed the "plane of the future" - made its first trip to Chicago.

So, what makes it so special? The Dreamliner has wider seats that can lie flat. There is better cabin lighting, and every seat has its own video screen connected to an in-flight entertainment system. You can also say "goodbye" to those uncomfortable ear pops. "The pressurization in the cabin is less and you do feel it. It's not as dry and you arrive a little more relaxed and stuff," said passenger David Graubard.

The Dreamliner also boasts business suites in addition to its 228 seats.

Beginning today, the Fort Worth-based carrier will provide nonstop flights to Beijing. American Airlines hopes to see the new accommodations bulk up service to Asia.
