PGA Sticking With Future Tournaments At Trump Courses

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) - The PGA of America has no plans to take two golf tournaments away from courses Donald Trump owns over the next seven years.
Chief executive Pete Bevacqua says the PGA of America is not interested in presidential politics and is involved with Trump as a golf entity. It is taking the Senior PGA Championship to one of Trump's courses near Washington in 2017, and the PGA Championship to Trump's golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey in 2022.
Trump's comments about Mexican immigrants caused golf organizations to issue a statement that they don't support his views.
The PGA of America did move the Grand Slam of Golf from Trump's course in Los Angeles. Bevacqua says he didn't want the 36-hole exhibition to be used as "political football" during the campaign.
