LINDALE (CBSDFW.COM) - People in the town of Lindale, north of Tyler, spent Saturday cleaning up after a tornado hit Friday.

Some just had seconds to spare to get to safety.

The manager of a sporting goods store says two employees who were inside survived by running into a fitting room.

"Not only those two but we were able to get everyone out next door at the Dollar Tree," says Sterling Baptiste.  "It could have been a lot worse."

Shelter for the Reeve family was a narrow hallway.

"This is where we were right here, door shut, door shut, two mattresses," said Steven Reeve.

The Reeves say the tornado shifted their house several feet off its foundation as they clutched on to their two daughter, including four-month-old, Rowan.

"I was trying to think about how I was supposed to hold onto them and try to keep the wall up at the same time," said Tiffany Reeve. "We just held it together as a family and held on."
