PD: Same Man Committed 10 Armed Robberies

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Several North Texas police agencies are asking for help in identifying a man they believe is responsible for nearly a dozen armed robberies in less than two months.

Police believe the suspect robbed 10 locations in areas from the west side of Fort Worth to White Settlement.

The first robbery took place on May 25 and the most recent occurred yesterday, on July 11.

Police say the suspect, armed with a handgun, targets banks and small businesses, mostly in strip centers. The man appears to stake out location and enters when there are few, if nay, customers inside the building.

In each case the suspect entered the business, showed an employee a gun and walked out with cash.

The suspect is described as a while male, between 35 and 40 years old. He stands between 5'9" and 6'0" and weighs roughly 200 pounds.

During the robberies the man wore a variety of colored baseball caps, a gray shirt and black jeans.

Police believe the suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous, drives a silver or grey-colored Mazda car.
