PD Looking For Sexual Assault "Person Of Interest"

IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Irving are asking for help from the public in identifying a "person of interest" in a sexual assault case.

The attack happened on June 21 as a woman walked from outside into her residence.

According to police, a man with a knife forced the 54-year-old woman into the residence and sexually assaulted her.

Before arriving back home, the woman was at an area store located near the intersection of Highway 183 and Esters Road. Investigators have obtained video of a man seen walking around the same store as the victim, just before she left.

The person seen in the picture above was last seen driving a white-colored, compact Ford Ranger or Mazda truck.

Investigators say they would like to speak to the person in the picture and are asking that anyone who knows his identity, or has information about the sexual assault case, to contact Irving police at (972) 273-1010.
