Pawn Shop Video Shows Denton Robbery Suspects

DENTON (CBSDFW.COM) -- Denton Police are searching for three suspects who robbed a man of cash at gunpoint in the driveway of his Denton home.

Police say the incident began at a Big State Pawn shop located in the 1700 block of Teasley Lane. The three suspects entered the shop attempting to sell their flat screen TV. The victim was also in the store and offered to purchase the TV for more than the pawn shop offered.

The suspects agreed to go to the victim's house to make sure the TV worked. One of the suspects rode with the victim, while the other two followed in a another vehicle.

When they arrived at the residence, the tallest suspect exited the vehicle, followed the victim to the edge of the driveway, and presented a "small black shiny revolver". He then robbed the victim of his cash and fled in a midsized, four-door vehicle with black aftermarket rims.

The victim alerted his wife and followed the suspects before losing them on northbound I-35.

All  three suspects are described as black males, 18-21 years of age.

The first suspect stands 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds with short style hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a red logo, camo shorts, and was armed with a gun.

The second suspect is estimated at 5-foot-8 and 140 pounds. He was wearing a doo rag with a black zip-up hoodie and large diamond stud earrings.

The third suspect is described as 5-foot-6, 130 pounds and was last seen in a red sport shirt and black basketball shorts.
