Parents Arrested For Letting Baby Play With Bong
Two Grapevine parents have been arrested after letting their baby play with a bong and some marijuana.
Todd Dearing with Grapevine police says a witness called them after seeing 20 year old Julio Garcia smoking a water pipe. When he finished smoking the pipe he put the front of the bong down to the 13 month old sons mouth. Then he let the baby "play" in a bowl of marijuana.
Garcia is charged with endangering a child and is being held on $3,000 bond. The baby's mother was allegedly in the room as well and did nothing to stop the action. She was taken into custody and is being held on $2,000 bond. Child Protective Services is investigating the matter. Below is a picture of the parents and of the bong.
