Parade In Cowtown Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Downtown Fort Worth was alive with music and colorful celebration Saturday morning.
The Hispanic Heritage Month Parade traveled down Main Street at 11 A.M. Crowds watched the parade which featured floats and local high school bands.
September 15 through October 15 marks Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States. The Dallas/Fort Worth area is observing this month with several events to help educate the public about Mexico's Independence Day (Sept. 16) as well as the cultural richness of Hispanic heritage.
