Pair Confesses To Burglaries In Mesquite

MESQUITE (CBSDFW.COM) - Two men confessed to multiple burglaries after a homeowner in the 1200 block of Foxboro Lane saw them breaking into his shed early Sunday morning.
The caller described the suspects taking off in a gray Ford F-150 pickup and police pulled them over on Barnes Bridge Road.
The driver, Joshua Scott Grider, 24 of Irving and passenger, Christopher Lee Shain, 23 of Mesquite were arrested as police noticed numerous items in the bed of the pickup, including a bicycle which the caller identified as being stolen from the shed.
Grider and Shain confessed to the burglary and told police the rest of the items in the truck bed had been stolen from throughout the neighborhood.
Grider was charged with one count of burglary of a building, a state jail felony carrying a bond of $7500, as well as misdemeanor theft and drug possession charges.
Shain was also charged with burglary of a building carrying a bond of $7500, as well as misdemeanor theft charges.
Police have dozens of items in their possession they're waiting for owners to come forward and identify their stolen property so it can be returned to them.
