Overnight Briefs From CBS 11 News

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.com) - Here is the news that happened overnight across North Texas.

DALLAS - A double shooting on St. Augustine Road ends with a man dead and an SUV hitting a school.

The SUV skipped a curb and hit the side of Dorsey Elementary School.
When Dallas Police arrived they found two men that were inside the SUV had been shot.

Both men were taken to Baylor Medical Center where one died; the other is reportedly in critical condition. Dallas PD says the investigation continues, the name of deceased man has not released.

IRVING - A 2-alarm apartment fire that damaged 4 units displaced 5 residents overnight at the Quail Run Condos on O'Connor Blvd.

Firefighters went door-to-door waking residents, all were able to get out safely, and the cause is under investigation.

FORT WORTH - An early-morning homicide in East Fort Worth has police looking for two suspects.

The shooting happened around 5:30 Saturday morning in the 2100 block of Handley Drive.

Fort Worth police officers were called to the Regency Oaks Apartments on a shooting call.

When they arrived, they found an adult male dead at the scene. Police believe there are two suspects in the case and told CBS 11 they are still investigating the case.
