Orioles Claim O'Day Off Waivers From Rangers
BALTIMORE, MD (Sports Network) - The Baltimore Orioles claimed pitcher Darren O'Day off waivers from the Texas Rangers Wednesday.
O'Day appeared in 16 games out of the bullpen for Texas this season, recording a mark of 0-1 with a 5.40 earned run average in 16 2/3 innings.
Through four seasons with the Angels, Mets and Rangers, O'Day has an 8-5 record and 2.89 ERA in 186 relief appearances.
The Orioles also reinstated pitcher Jake Arrieta, infielder Brian Roberts and outfielder Luke Scott from the 60-day disabled list.
