FORT WORTH — A shooting in north Fort Worth left a 17-year-old dead and two others seriously injured, according to Fort Worth police.

Officers were called to a home in the 7500 block of Berrenda Drive just before 3 p.m. Tuesday. The home is just northwest of the intersection of I-35W and Basswood Boulevard.

When they arrived, the 17-year-old was dead and two others were hurt. The 17-year-old has been identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner as Jaqualin Houston of Fort Worth. 

Fort Worth officers say they are investigating the shooting as an attempted robbery where both the victims and the suspects were shot. 

Police are also working a second scene nearby on Bernese Lane. At this time, CBS News Texas crews are unsure how the two scenes are connected.

So far no arrests have been made.
