One Dead, Another Wounded In Overnight Oak Cliff Shooting

DALLAS (CBSDFW) - One person has been killed and another was critically wounded after a shooting in Oak Cliff.
It happened just after midnight at the Vernon Oaks Apartments on Vernon Avenue, just south of Kiest Boulevard.
Dallas Police say they found both victims inside an apartment.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene along with the Dallas County Medical Examiner.
Reports say the wounded man was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
No word on what might have led up to the shooting.
