One Dead, Another Injured In Arlington Accident
ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Arlington police are investigating a deadly accident on East Pioneer Parkway Saturday night. Two men crossing the street at New York Avenue were hit by at least one car close to 11 p.m.
One person was killed; the other was seriously injured and was rushed to a hospital by medical helicopter.
Police haven't released their identities. There wasn't a cross walk in the middle lane where the victims were struck.
Investigators said the driver stopped at the scene and is cooperating with police. That person isn't expected to face charges at this time.
Police said they are looking for additional witnesses and possible drivers of any other cars involved in the accident.
