Officer Shoots Armed Woman In Watauga
WATAUGA (CBSDFW.COM) - A Watauga Police officer shot a woman who was carrying a gun at 6325 Rufe Snow Drive after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.
It's not yet clear what led to the shooting.
The officer was not hurt. The woman's condition is not yet known. She went to JPS Hospital and had surgery.
The scene on Watauga Road between Maurie Blvd and Skylark Lane was closed to all traffic shortly after the shooting.
The Texas Rangers have been called to investigate which is standard procedure.
