Nowitzki Returns For Mavs
MEMPHIS, TN (Sports Network) - The Dallas Mavericks got back Dirk Nowitzki for Saturday's game against Memphis, ending the forward's nine-game absence due to a sprained right knee.
Nowitzki, who started Saturday's game, suffered the injury in a 103-93 win at Oklahoma City on December 27. The Mavericks were 2-7 with him out of the lineup.
Entering Saturday's game, Nowitzki was averaging 24.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game this season.
