BALTIMORE (AP) - Southwest Airlines says the nose gear of a plane departing Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport failed just after the aircraft pushed back from the gate.

The airline said in a statement Thursday night that no injuries were reported among the 126 passengers and five crew members.

TV station WBAL reports emergency crews were called to help passengers off the disabled aircraft.

Another plane took the passengers on to Atlanta after a delay from the original departure time of about four hours.
Southwest says there was no other impact to flights to or from the airport.
