NORTH TEXAS - Happy Monday!

We are tracking several changes this week, with First Alerts starting Tuesday due to strong southerly winds.

Southerly winds will gust to 40 mph, drawing in more moisture and increasing humidity and cloud cover.

A spotty shower is possible, but most of us will remain dry.

Temperatures will remain well above normal in the mid-80s.

Another First Alert is in place for Wednesday due to the threat of storms.

Scattered showers are possible during the day Wednesday, but the cold front arrives overnight, bringing a line of rain and storms.

While widespread severe weather is not expected, an isolated strong to severe storm with quarter-size hail and wind gusts up to 60 mph is possible.

There is a Level 2, slight risk for areas along and north of I-20.

Halloween will be much cooler and breezy with highs in the lower 70s, but we will dry out in time for trick or treating with temperatures in the upper 60s.
