North Texas Super Bowl Trial Starts Next Week In Dallas

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Attorneys representing football fans suing the NFL over Super Bowl XLV seat issues say the trial is scheduled to begin next week in Dallas.
The lawsuit claims that seats were sold to several fans for 2011's Super Bowl at Cowboys Stadium that either did not exist or were located behind posts, railings or concrete obstructions.
Attorneys representing the fans say they will call NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to testify in the trial.
In 2013, a judge denied class-action status for the lawsuit filed by fans. About 1,250 temporary seats at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington were deemed unsafe just hours before the game between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers. That forced about 850 ticket holders to move to new seats and 400 others to watch from standing-room locations.
