North Texas "Ghost Hunters" Incinerate La. Plantation

LOUISIANA (CBSDFW.COM) - Five out of seven suspects accused of burning down a pre-Civil War plantation house in Louisiana Thursday night are from Grand Prairie or Fort Worth.

High off of marijuana and alcohol, the men broke into the LeBeau Plantation House while seeking the supernatural, authorities said.

The deteriorating plantation house in Old Arabi was built in 1854 by Francis Barthelemy LeBeau. It was an illegal casino, hotel, brick factory and plantation. It was abandoned after a fire destroyed much of the interior in the '80s.

The men were charged with various crimes, including arson, burglary and trespassing.
