No. 2 Oklahoma St Tries For 10th Win At Texas Tech
LUBBOCK (AP) Second-ranked Oklahoma State can move a step closer to playing for the national championship with a win Saturday over Texas Tech.
The Cowboys (9-0, 6-0 Big 12) have never been ranked this high and never won their first 10 games. They last time Oklahoma State went 9-0 was in 1945.
The Red Raiders (5-4, 2-4) would become bowl eligible with a win. Texas Tech has lost two straight after surprising Oklahoma at home.
The Cowboys boast the nation's second best passing offense (387.5 yards a game) behind quarterback Brandon Weeden, while the Red Raiders passing attack is averaging 362 yards and is No. 6 nationally.
