New Information Released In Frisco Mom Murder Case

PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - New information was released Monday about the investigation into the murder of a Frisco mother.

For the first time, officials showed the search warrant Plano police executed for the house of Terrance Black, the man suspected of killing fitness instructor Susan Loper.

Black's Frisco home was searched the same day Loper's body was found.

The search warrant describes Black as obsessive and smothering with the 40-year-old victim. The 48-year-old man described by many as a "genuinely nice guy" is the same person police believe violently murdered Loper.

The Collin County search warrant details information about what police found at the crime scene on the day Loper went missing. It describes how a Plano police officer arrived at the Gleneagles Country Club, where Loper worked, and found the woman's workout room in disarray and blood in two different locations.

The search warrant stated the officer, "…noticed an apparent struggle had taken place" and later " …noticed what appeared to be blood on the floor and also observed a live bullet as well."

In all, there were three live 9mm bullets found at the scene.

The warrant also says that once Loper's family was contacted her parents and her ex-husband all suspected Black was involved. Police were told intimate details about Loper's and Black's previous relationship as justification for their suspicions.

Loper's ex-husband even told officers how he witnessed Black become "extremely agitated and combative" toward Loper.

The body of the single mother was found in a field in Frisco – just off the Dallas North Tollway. Loper's SUV was found in the same area and was located by tracking her TollTag.

During the search of Black's home police found a green folder containing printed information about his relationships and also handwritten notes about those relationships.
