New Arlington Development Going Up Next To City Landfill

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) -  A massive, 2,300 acre development is underway in an unusual location -- next to a landfill.

The Viridian in North Arlington will feature first-class shopping and dining with homes starting at $200,000.

But the government-backed project is across a highway from a regional landfill.

The developer says there will be so much green space and development between it and the homes, though, the landfill will be an after thought for people who live there.
