Names Of Tarrant Co. Plane Crash Victims Released
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - The names of the three people on-board a twin-engine plane that crashed in northern Tarrant County have been released.
Officials with the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office confirm 73-year-old flight instructor Gerald Wayne McCombs was on the plane with students Toni Warvall, 58, and 41-year-old Gary Wayne Chasteen.
The plane the three were in went down just before 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the 3200 block of Peden Road in Fort Worth.
The twin-engine Beechcraft airplane was completely destroyed, with only the tail section and on engine recognizable.
Tarrant County Sheriff's Department spokesman Terry Grisham said, "It's a miracle anyone survived."

As of Thursday morning instructor McCombs was listed in critical condition and both Warvall and Chasteen were hospitalized in fair condition.
The plane went down in a field near Hicks Airport. Pro Aircraft Flight Training, located at the airport, owns the plane.
The crash sparked a small grass fire but firefighters were able to quickly extinguish it. No one on the ground was injured.
Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) continue to investigate the crash.
