Multiple MedStar Ambulances Out Of Service, Damaged By Hail

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW) - With the severe weather pushing thought the Metroplex on Thursday morning, MedStar ambulances were out servicing the many accidents on the roads when they became victims of the storm.
According to Matt Zavadsky of MedStar, 11 ambulances were brought out of service because of heavy hail damage.
Another 15 MedStar vehicles are out of service at their offices. In addition – the agency had recently purchased 38 chasis to be used for MedStar units. All of them were damaged.
"It's a disaster," said Zavadsky, whose own car was pummeled by the hail, along with 40 other employee vehicles.
