Motorcyclist Slams Harley Into Truck & Dies
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (CBSDFW.COM) - The driver of a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle slammed into the back of a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and died Sunday evening.
He was traveling east bound in the 8600 block of Airport Freeway close to where I-820 meets HWY 121 when the incident occurred. The truck was headed the same direction on the highway. The 57-year-old motorcyclist landed on the highway after the force of the impact; he wasn't wearing a helmet.
He was taken to a local hospital where he died.
The occupants of the truck remained at the scene cooperating fully with the police investigation.
Police are seeking information from any possible witnesses to the crash. Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact the North Richland Hills Police Department at (817) 427-7000.
Police have not yet released the name of the deceased.
