GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW.COM) - Grand Prairie Police arrested Charles Phifer, 34, the boyfriend of Jeri Quezada on Friday.

Phifer is charged with injury to a child in the death of 4-year-old Leiliana Wright with bond set at $1,000,000.

Police say they don't anticipate any more arrests but the investigation continues.

CBS11 obtained the arrest warrant affidavit against Leiliana's mother, 30-year-old Jeri Quezada, on Thursday.  She's been in jail since March 25.

The document paints a picture that the little girl was tortured.

Regarding Phifer, the arrest warrant said, among other things, "The defendant described Charles shoving the child against a piece of drywall that was inside the closet, all the while holding her by the throat with one hand... Charles then threw the child back into the closet and closed the door..."

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner says Leiliana Wright died of blunt force trauma to the head and abdomen.

Police say when they arrived at the house late in the evening March 13, the little girl wasn't breathing and had extensive bruising from head to toe.
