Police: Family Violence Claims Two More Victims

GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW.COM) - Updated 9 p.m.:  Forty-four-year old Jennifer Krieger and her teenage daughter were found dead Sunday after an apparent double homicide in a Grand Prairie home, police said.

A family member called police after she couldn't get a hold of the residents and then discovered all the doors were locked at their home in the 1800 block of Sandra Lane.

"Once they forced entry, they found two deceased females — a mother and teenage daughter," according to Det. Mark Beseda, Grand Praire Police Department.

Grand Prairie Police Officers forced entry into the home in the 1800 block of Sandra Lane and found the bodies.

"Once he got to the third try and you heard the door open, the family immediately fell out and cried and that's when you knew," said neighbor Jodi Boyd.

The official cause of death has not yet been determined, but this incident is being handled as a double-homicide.

Grand Prairie police said they have a suspect in custody and that the slayings could be related to domestic violence.

They are still trying to determine the suspect's relationship to the victims. His name has not been released.
