Motel Shooting Leaves One Dead

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Fort Worth Police responded to a shooting call at a Motel 6 at 6600 South Freeway this morning.
Officers arrived to find the body of a woman in the lobby. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene with a gunshot wound.
Authorities says that witnesses were able to describe the suspect and someone has been detained for questioning.
This was the first of two shootings to happen in Fort Worth this morning.
The investigation into both is still on-going.
