More Changes For Downtown Dallas Skyline
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - More and more color is going to be added to the night skyline in Dallas in 2012. Some new construction has forced some of the older buildings to 'step up their game' when it comes to exterior lights.
A notable example is Reunion Tower, which following the opening of the LED-lit Omni Hotel recently upgraded the iconic dull yellow bulbs on the sphere with color capable ones.

John Crawford with Downtown Dallas, Inc. thinks the effort to make more buildings pop will continue.
"A lot of different buildings have expressed interest and there are varying degrees of interest primarily directly related to cost," Crawford said.
The Chase bank building on Ross Avenue now has cool blue lights highlighting it's cutout 'window.'
Crawford says the holiday City Lights celebration has been big in inspiring the trend.
