DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Emmitt Smith carrying the ball was always a scary sight for Dallas Cowboys opponents, but on Halloween 1993, Smith proved to be a monster against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Rain wasn't the only thing falling in Philly that night. So was the Cowboys single-game rushing record.
Smith carried the football 30 times against the Eagles and finished with a franchise record of 237 yards rushing. The final nail in the coffin was Smith's 62-yard fourth-quarter touchdown run.
