DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Roger Staubach was known for rallying the Dallas Cowboys to thrilling come-from-behind victories throughout his 11-year career with the team. However, in 1980, the first season after Staubach's retirement, Danny White stepped in to provide some late game heroics of his own.
The Cowboys trailed the Atlanta Falcons by two scores midway through the fourth quarter of a playoff showdown in Atlanta.
That is when White turned to 'Mr. Clutch,' Drew Pearson. White pulled the Cowboys within three points when he laced a pass through double coverage to Pearson for a touchdown.
When the Cowboys defense forced Atlanta to punt the ball away, Dallas found themselves with a chance to win in the final minutes of the game.

White led the Cowboys on a six-play, 70-yard drive that culminated with a 23-yard game winning touchdown pass to Pearson. "One of those moments that happen," White recently recalled about the game. "An out of body experience."
The Cowboys rallied to win the game 30-27. It stands as the 18th greatest moment in Cowboys history.
