Modano Still Mulling Return Despite Misgivings

DALLAS (AP) _ Mike Modano says it ``doesn't seem right'' to suit up for a team other than the Dallas Stars. He still might try it anyway.
The 40-year-old center said at least a partial goodbye to Dallas Stars fans Wednesday, a day after his 20-year playing career with the franchise ended. Modano is still considering a return to the ice with another team.

Modano sounded like he was giving a retirement speech. His rambling opening statement thanked every group of people he could think of, all the way back to when he was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in 1988.
