MMA Fighter Cung Le Previews UFC 148

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - Cung Le is one of the more entertaining fighters in all of mixed martial arts, and he has what is possibly the most versatile striking attack in the entire UFC.  He also happens to be 40 years old, and that part just isn't fair.

On Saturday night, Le will fight for just the second time in The UFC in a middleweight match up against former title challenger Patrick "The Predator" Cote.

Le lost his UFC debut in a very tough fight against Wanderlei Silva back in November, and he'll be looking for his first career victory with the promotion on Saturday night.  Originally scheduled to fight Rich Franklin, Cote became his replacement opponent when Franklin was asked to fill in for an injured Vitor Belfort against Silva just two weeks ago in Brazil.

Richard Hunter and I had a chance to talk with Cung Le today about his upcoming matchup with Patrick Cote as well as what has been going on with his movie career.  He starred in "The Fighter" with Channing Tatum, and I made sure to ask if Tatum returned the favor by offering Le a role in "Magic Mike".

Check out the interview that Richard and I did with Cung Le here, but be warned: You will not be able to root against this guy after you hear how nice he is.

Make sure to come by The Fan Sports Lounge this Saturday starting at 9pm to watch the ridiculously stacked UFC 148 card FOR FREE!

The only UFC post fight show in Dallas will begin immediately after the middleweight championship rematch between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen.  I will be live at The Fan Sports Lounge, and Richard Hunter will be at The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas to give a first hand account of the entire card.
