Missing Woman's Family Questions Surveillance Video Quality

PLANO (CBS 11 NEWS) - The surveillance video of Christina Morris, the 23-year-old woman who was last seen at The Shops at Legacy on August 30, is the best piece of evidence in her search.

But Morris' family has concerns about the grainy images, which show the young woman walking toward her car with a friend. The two eventually separate, according to police and the footage is her last known appearance.

"It needs to be fixed; it needs to be fixed immediately because I don't wish this on anybody else. It's not fair to her at all that this is what's kind of stopping it," said Morris' mother Jonnie McElroy.

Plano police say they understand her concerns.

"It's unfortunate we don't have something better but we're going to look at enhancement of the video so we can get some help on that," said Plano Police spokesman David Tilley.

McElroy says she believes the high-end village of shops and apartments deserves higher-quality security cameras.

Plano police say they just don't have witnesses or evidence to conclude Morris' disappearance is the result of foul play but the likelihood increases each day.
