Missing Kaufman County Mother, 2 Daughters Found Dead In Farmers Branch
FARMERS BRANCH, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - A mother and her two daughters who were reported missing out of Kaufman County were found dead in Farmers Branch Thursday, police said.
Authorities had been searching for Natalie Chambers, 31, and her daughters, Izabel, 4, and Elise, 2, since Wednesday after they were reported missing.
According to police, the mother's vehicle was found Thursday morning in a parking lot at I-635 and Midway Road, along with the three bodies.
Police said Thursday afternoon they cannot confirm if there were any visible signs of harm or how they died.
Further information was not immediately released as authorities continue to investigate.
Chambers' sister, Jessica Purcell, released the following statement about the situation:
"Natalie was hilarious and charismatic and never met a stranger. She fiercely loved her girls and was an inspirational mother. I always used to tell her I'm glad she did it (motherhood) first so I can steal parenting tips from her. Izabel and Elise were happy and so very smart and witty. Izabel got that her mom's sassiness and Elise got her humor. They were beautiful and perfect. Our hearts are completely shattered."
