Millions Hitting The Roads For The 4th
It's get-away day for millions of Americans who are hitting the road this holiday weekend.
Triple-A's Dan Ronan says a lot of Texans will be packing the car for a road trip. Nearly two-and-a-half million of us which is about 14% over last year
Ronan tells the 1080 KRLD Morning news that more than half of those taking road trips will be going some distance between 400 and 1,500 miles.
As for gas prices they're staying pretty much the same. Locally, the cheapest prices are 2.36 in Dallas County and 2.41 in Tarrant County.
