We are only five and a half weeks away from Valentine's Day, but the wine and chocolates were flowing at the Messina Hof Winery in Grapevine. Wednesday nights are special events with wine and chocolate pairings.
"Every first and third Wednesday of the month we feature a gourmet locally made chocolate. Tonight's chocolates are made by Dr. Sue's, and we pair them with a Messina Hof wine" said General Manager Amanda Leese.
The wine and chocolate are paired carefully to bring out the best of both.
"Tonight we have candied ginger dark chocolate and we pair it with our Angel Late Harvest Riesling, which is a very sweet white desert wine. It is incredible" Amanda added.
