Mesquite To Take Action to Regulate Payday Lenders

MESQUITE (CBSDFW.COM) - The Mesquite City Council may soon join other North Texas cities to regulate payday and title loans.
It's expected to vote on an ordinance to help protect the community from what some call "predatory lending practices".
Twenty-seven Texas cities have already passed the ordinance -- including Dallas, Garland and Arlington.
