McKinney Man Sentenced To 50 Years For Child Molestation

McKINNEY (CBSDFW.COM) - A 43-year-old McKinney man was sentenced to 50 years in prison for repeatedly molesting a child in Plano and McKinney, according to the Collin County District Attorney.

According to the D.A.'s office, Eduardo Alfaro, 43, was a father figure to the victim and began sexually abusing the girl when she was only 10 years old. The abuse continued until the girl was 17, when she alerted authorities.

During an investigation, the Plano Police Department found a Polaroid camera which was used to take pornographic photos of the child. Police also found sex toys, pornographic movies, and thousands of deviant pornographic images on his computer. Many of the discovered images "had themes of older men with younger women."

Alfaro had married twice, marrying his current wife while living with the victim's mother, who was his full-time girlfriend.

The 50-year sentence was for one count of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child. He was also convicted on five counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, two counts of Indecency with a Child, and four counts of Sexual Assault of a Child. All of the charges were against the same child and will be served concurrently.
