ATLANTA (AP) - Angel McCoughtry had seven of her 27 points in overtime and finished with the sixth triple-double in WNBA history as the Atlanta Dream beat the Dallas Wings 95-90 on Friday night.
McCoughtry also had 10 assists and 10 rebounds, the last rebound coming after Elizabeth Williams' key block, her sixth, on an Odyssey Sims drive with 29 seconds left in OT.
Layshia Clarendon made 3 of 4 free throws to offset a Skylar Diggins basket to seal the win for the Dream, ranked ninth in the AP power poll. Clarendon's two free throws with 3.2 seconds left in regulation sent the game into overtime after Dallas had erased an 18-point first-half deficit.
Tiffany Hayes scored 21 of her 27 points in the first half when Atlanta (10-9) opened a 52-39 lead.
Karima Christmas had 18 points and 15 rebounds for Dallas (9-11), seventh in the poll. Glory Johnson added 16 points and 15 rebounds but injured a toe in the fourth quarter and did not return. Diggins had 15 points but was called for an offensive foul with 2:05 left in overtime and the score tied at 85.
Dallas coach Fred Williams was given a technical foul after the Diggins foul. McCoughtry made the free throw and Hayes fed Sancho Lyttle for a layup on the ensuing possession. After a Sims miss, McCoughtry made a driving layup and following a Diggins 3-point play with 51 seconds to go, McCoughtry made two free throws.
