Mayor Rawlings To Host City's First Twitter Budget Town Hall

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Mayor Mike Rawlings will host the City's first budget town hall via our virtual technology, including Twitter and Periscope AT 6:00 p.m. Thursday. The goal is to reach residents through traditional and social media resources so he can answer their questions and provide insight into the upcoming year's proposed budget.

"I'm excited to engage Dallas residents on social media about their top priorities in the ongoing budget process," Mayor Rawlings said. "I've been traveling around the city to traditional town hall meetings and this forum will help us reach an even wider audience of constituents."
