Mavs Sign Dennis Smith Jr. To Rookie Contract

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Mavericks have officially signed Dennis Smith Jr. to his rookie contract.
Terms of the deal weren't released, per club policy.
Dallas selected Smith ninth overall in the first round of the NBA Draft on June 22.
The 6'3" guard out of NC State averaged 18.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 6.2 assists while shooting 45.5 percent from the field as a freshman.
Smith is set to compete for the Mavericks' summer league team in Las Vegas beginning this Saturday.
