Mark Cuban On Presidential Run: "There's No Possible Way"

DALLAS (CBSDFW) - Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban told the Ben and Skin Show that he won't be running for president.
There's been a lot of speculation about Cuban possibly running for president recently. Just yesterday at Mavericks media day, newcomer Harrision Barnes said he wouldn't be surprised if Cuban threw his name in the hat in 2020.
"There's no possible way, there's just no way," Cuban laughingly told Ben and Skin on 105.3 The Fan. Cuban continued, "and put up with that shinola show? Are you kidding me? There's just no way I would... and put my family through that... yeah, there's just no chance."
When asked how he can fix the country without running, Cuban said, "the way I look at it I'm helping companies grow. I think my companies have created right now - not ones I've sold - but have more than 6,000 employees and growing quickly, and, you know, helping small entrepreneurs turn into big entrepreneurs. Those are the things I like to do and I think that has a big impact on the economy and helps the state of Texas."
Cuban also does realize that he has been outspoken in this year's upcoming election and that many around the metroplex may not agree with his decision to back Senator Hillary Clinton.
"It's not lost in me that Texas is a republican state or red state... and I'm supporting Hillary Clinton, who's obviously a democrat. But I've been a-political my entire life. I just think, and we all know this election is a little bit different, and so when this race is over come November 9th, win, lose or draw, it's all basketball, all the time, and I have no interest in politics," Cuban said.
"People have speculated, Oh, I've got a deal with Hillary Clinton... hell no! There's nothing about me that wants to take any political office, work in any cabinet... when I said I'd be their vice president, it was half in jest because it was interesting... and I got to talk to them about it, but look, I knew there was no chance in that happening. But I haven't donated any money to either campaign. I haven't donated money to the Clinton foundation, there's no jobs, there's no nothing, and I have no interest in politics. I have no interest in running for mayor, senator, governor, congressman or bat boy."
Cuban has been very critical of Trump recently. Just a couple weeks ago, he offered Trump $10 million to a let him interview him on his economic plan. And following Monday night's debate, he responded to Trump's controversial tax comments.
