MANSFIELD (CBSDFW) - Another victim has come forward in the case against a pastor at a Mansfield church.
Detectives from the Mansfield Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division had already charged Jose Luis Pizarro, 40, with aggravated sexual assault of an 8-year-old girl.
Pizarro now faces a second charge after a victim told police she was sexually assaulted by him in 2013. The victim says she was 10-years-old when the assault happened.
The assault of the 8-year-old girl allegedly happened at the Iglesia de Dios Nuevo Amanecer in Mansfield, where Pizarro is a pastor.
The second assault allegedly happened in Johnson County, but authorities haven't said exactly where.
Mansfield Police Detectives continue to search for victims. Detective Brandi Howard said, "We are concerned there are more victims. We need these victims to come forward so that we can get them the help that they and their families need."
Pizarro is currently being held in the Mansfield jail with bond set at $500,000.
