Fort Worth City Employee Arrested For Murder
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Fort Worth police have made an arrest in the shooting death of a man in front of a church on Sunday. The man who was arrested, is a City of Fort Worth employee.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the Gospel Tabernacle Church at 1501 Stella Street and located an unidentified man deceased from an unknown amount of gunshots.
Police arrested 60-year-old Daniel Earl Hammack and have charged him with murder.
The City of Fort Worth confirms Hammack started in the Transportation and Public Works Department in 2012 and moved to the Water Department in 2014.
He has been placed on leave.
Police haven't released a motive for the crime.
